Joshua S. Lee received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1997.  He is the owner of The Game Plan for Better Living, a coaching and consulting practice, specializing in working with all levels of human potential, in the areas of team building, communication, and interpersonal conflict resolution using a systematic application of emotional intelligence skills.

As a Trainer, Educator & Practitioner (TEP) in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy, he will focus on training practitioners in non-clinical settings, such as coaches, community empowerment, and racial/social justice professionals, through a trauma-informed lens embedded within the Therapeutic Spiral Model (TSM) and TSM Psychodrama.

He has a special interest and skillset in sociometry, spending an entire year studying the principles of Applied Sociometry under the tutelage of Ann E. Hale, TEP.  Additionally, the community-based social engagement framework he created called The Game Plan Social Forum uses sociodrama and other human engagement concepts to create a safe space and deep connections with members of specific communities, taking them through authentic enacted conversations about current events.  He enjoys bringing action frameworks to the world of coaching, work teams, and consulting.

As the creator of the powerfully effective, experiential coaching system called The Game Plan©, he takes participants through the ALL-IN protocol to help them win at life’s games. That is, by using the language and metaphor of sports, individuals, families/groups, and organizations bring into effective action the power of their inherent strengths and resources to overcome their “opponents” in life.  He is interested in meeting people primarily at the intersection of psychodrama (and other action methods), organizational culture, and ontological learning.

And, as of August 2020, he has certification in Team Coaching with the World Business and Executive Coaching Summit (WBECS) organization.

Finally, he is clear that he’s walking in his God-given purpose, HELPING HUMANITY WIN!
